Wash With Me

Be there while I shower.
Not the part where I scrub my hair and shave my legs and answer the door for a parcel halfway through. The other part. The part where I run my hands slowly over every inch of my own body and pretend they belong to someone else.
I have had a long shift. I am tired. I am standing under hot water and I want to be touched, properly, slowly, from my neck to the soles of my feet. I do not want to be rushed. I do not want anything missed.
You will be there with me.
You will hear the water start. You will hear the soap. You will hear me, low and slow, telling you exactly which part of me I am washing and exactly how my hands are moving across it. The shoulders that have been carrying tension all day. The chest. The hollow at the base of the neck. The stomach. The hips. Lower. Every inch. Nothing rushed, nothing skipped, every part of me cleaned by hands that are paying full attention.
You will hear me sigh when something feels good. You will hear me pause. You will hear how the audio gets quieter when I lean my head against the tiles. You will not be doing anything. You will not be touching yourself. You will not be permitted. You are there to listen, and to wish, and to remember what it sounds like when a woman is being properly cared for at the end of a long day even if the only one doing the caring is herself.

The point of this audio is that you are with me while I look after myself, and that is the only thing I will be doing. Some of you will find that almost unbearable. Some of you will find it the most affecting thing I sell. You will not know which until you listen.
