tips for new sellers
i havent been very active this month and have only had 1 order and 5 new followers
so being more sociable doesnt guarantee a sale but it really does help.
ive been selling for the past 23 years on various different sites and here are some tips for you.
1. write a very detailed profile with spaced paragraphs. you can still say anonymous but try and get your personality on that page, your profile is like a book blurb and some buyers will not even look at your listings if they dont like your profile.
who are you, what do you like? what are your favourite things to sell? what turns you on?, how do you run your store? will you sell internationally? etc
its a good idea to browse other sellers listings and profiles when you first get started, never ever to copy them but to just get a general idea of how you can play around with writing yours.
2. post pictures as much and as often as you can and it doesnt have to be of something you are selling, and you do not have to show your face but a lot of buyers do prefer it.
3. repost 5 of your listings every day, and not always the most expensive things you have in your store, a item you are selling for like £2 can attract a much bigger sale just by a buyer looking at that £2 listing , liking what he sees and then exploring your profile and other listings.
4. try and add as much detail as possible for the item you are selling, try and add a s**y story behind it, and post multiple photos of it, of you wearing it in different angles, front, back, insides, bent over, lying down etc etc. especially if you are selling footwear, buyers just love to have a good look at those insoles.
5. interact with other buyers and sellers posts and polls, the more you do this, the more you can be seen by buyers.
6. if you have nothing physical to sell, have a think about photo sets and videos you could sell.
7. remember it is your store, you can price things however you want and if a buyer really likes you he will come, though most sellers stick to average prices.
8. have some cheap items in your store, maybe a cheap photo set or video for £5.
this may mean you may get yout first sale quickly and may get a review easier.
a lot of buyers will not buy from someone with no reviews.
9. read the faq/help section and terms and conditions, there are some rules here that will get you banned if you do not follow them.
10. do not ha**le buyers to buy something, if one messages you interested in something, dont just ask him to pay for it, converse with him , if he truly wants it he will bring up payment when he is ready.
in my experience of selling most guys do not like being told to buy something straight away and anyway would you, without having a chat first?
11. always leave a review for buyers unless they request that you dont and you can ask nicely if they can leave you one too but there are some buyers that do not like to leave reviews, ive had many orders without exchanging reviews.
12. if you decide to follow a buyer or one follows you please take a look to see if he has written a profile, not all buyers do but they like it if us sellers read them.
13. if you need help, stuck for ideas to sale feel free to message me, im always happy to help and i am full of ideas.
14. it might be more affordable if you wait to see what items you are selling are popular first but i always buy random different socks, vials, packaging etc
its a bit expensive at first but it can be cheaper in the long run than buying everything individually.
for example if you sell panties the most and you sell one pair of panties for £20 and you buy a pair of panties new each time, that isnt gonna be a lot of profit for you.
but if you use one of those £20 to buy a few pairs of panties the next time you sell a pair you will get to keep more of that payment.
how i do it is a lot of money i make on premade videos, audios and pictures i will use to buy physical items in bulk.
remember that every single item you decide to sell can not please everyone all at once.
you cant make everyone happy all at once
so only sell what you are comfortable and happy to sell and sell things in all different varieties as you can.
you never know what a buyer may like, i once sold a picture of just one finger for like £20 lol.
each buyer is different, with different wants, needs and fetishes .
also the last tip is to just have fun, be yourself and dont get dishearted if it is taking some time to get your first few sales.
