Why should I sell with Kinkie?

Selling your used underwear is nothing new. People have been exchanging used panties for years but until now, have never had a safe and secure platform to browse a full catalog of options.

With Kinkie, you will be advertising your used items directly to thousands of buyers who check our website daily. Selling used underwear and panties is a great way to have fun and make money at the same time! You’ll also be pleased to know that unlike almost every other used item marketplace, we do not take a commission out of your transactions! Yep, that’s right, you keep 100% of the earnings you make with Kinkie!

How do I start selling with Kinkie?

You will need to sign up to one of our of seller membership packages, we offer two at present, our Monthly, 3 Months, 6 Months and Yearly VIP Membership Package. You can compare our membership packages by reading our blog article on membership package information and find the best membership suited to your selling needs.

Please note that our seller memberships are subscriptions and to stop the auto-renewal of your subscription you will be required to cancel your seller membership.

How do I make money?

Firstly after signing up to a seller membership you need to list your Kinkie items for sale, if a buyer likes what you are offering they will send a message to you, this will come through to your Kinkie account page and through to your email addressed supplied when signing up, you can respond directly to that email to negotiate the order with buyer. All sales are completed off line between the seller and buyer directly.

Can I make a lot of money selling my used underwear?

In short, yes you can! But you do have to put the work in to build up your seller reputation. Provide good customer service and reap the rewards.  If you want to make a part time / full time income be sure to to frequently advertise your items on Kinkie and your social media pages like Twitter; don’t forget to promptly reply to your buyer enquiries too. 

Do I have to pay commission on my sales to Kinkie?

Absolutely not! You keep 100% of all your sales made, meaning your earnings are only limited to you.

I’m not in the UK, can I sell on Kinkie?

Kinkie is no longer just for the UK market, we’ve become a global phenomenon. Buyers and sellers from anywhere in the world can use our website.

Can men sell on Kinkie?

Yes, men can sell on Kinkie. We welcome sellers from all sexual orientations. We live in a diverse world so we have opened our platform to everyone.

How do I reply to a buyers enquiry?

When you get a new enquiry from a buyer, we’ll send you an email with the details. To respond to the buyers enquiry, you can simply reply to that email directly, as the reply will go straight to the buyers email inbox from your seller email account. Then you may continue your sales negotiation and transaction off-site.

Don’t worry if you accidentally delete a buyer enquiry in your inbox, your buyer enquiries are also backed up onto your Kinkie account, just select “My Listing Enquiries” from your Kinkie account page to review.

How do I take payments from buyers?

To protect your privacy, we advise our sellers to use discreet payment methods where possible. We currently suggest receiving payment via Gift voucher (e.g. Amazon), Cash App, bank transfer or even bitcoin.

For most gift vouchers the buyer simply needs to email this to you, it doesn’t personally identify you if you’ve your using your seller email address to receive this (not your personal email address). With Amazon gift vouchers for example, you can apply the gift voucher to any Amazon account regardless of which email address it was sent to. The purchaser of an Amazon gift card cannot see who redeemed it.

To use Cash App, you will need to download this to your smartphone on the iOS Apple App Store or the Android Google Play Store, and then quickly create an account. This allows you to receive payments by simply providing the buyer with your cash app user ID, which starts with a £ pound sign. This is a discreet, quick and easy way to receive payments.

To receive payments by bank transfer, you would need to provide your sort code and account number only to them. The name of Payee is only the buyers reference, so that is up to them and of course the reference would be something you both agree on to identify the transaction. This can be the quick and discreet way to get money straight into your account.

Please exercise caution when using PayPal, some sellers do use this payment method however we have heard reports of sellers getting chargebacks from malicious buyers and found their accounts restricted after breaching PayPal’s acceptable use policy.

A buyer wants my items or services first before sending money… What do I do?

We would always recommend not sending anything or providing any services to buyers until the buyer has paid the agreed price in full and you can verify receipt of the payment. Be aware of buyers trying to get your time, content or used items for free, with no intention of ever paying you for it.

How do I send items to a buyer?

All of your used items must be sent directly to the buyer. We would advise you to package the items discreetly where possible and encourage the buyer to let you know if they have any particular discretionary requirements.

When taking your items to the post office or courier drop off location, if asked what the contents is you can simply say clothing. Rest assured people sell second hand clothing all the time at the post office, so this wouldn’t seem unusual to the staff.

If you are sending a sex toy, we would recommend removing the batteries first, as these are often prohibited to be sent by post without an appropriate warning label.

Can buyers see my email address and can I change it?

Your email address isn’t public, it’s only available to the Kinkie administration team to help you manage your account with us. All account related emails such as listing renewal and chat notifications will be sent to this email address, but not visible to the buyer.

If you need to change the email address on your Kinkie account, then please get in touch via our contact form, selecting the “Account Changes” type of enquiry and we’ll get it updated for you. Be sure to provide us with the following information in your enquiry: your seller username, your current email address and your new seller email address.

Do I have to include my face in the profile picture?

No, not at all. At Kinkie we respect your right to anonymity, sellers are allowed to show as little or as much as they like to buyers.

Will Kinkie show on my bank / card statement?

Absolutely not, we value your privacy and understand people would rather not have such a paper trail. If you would like to know exactly what will appear on your statement, then please contact us to find out more.

Can I cancel my membership?

You are free to cancel your seller your membership at any time, but please remember that upon cancelling, once processed, your account will be immediately deleted, which includes the removal of all buyer reviews you’ve accrued and removal of all listings on your account.

To cancel your seller membership you will need to contact our customer services team from your seller email address, you can reach them from our contact page.

On our contact page form, please select membership cancellation as the type of enquiry, and ensure you are using your seller email address for security reasons. We will email you back to confirm that you are happy for us to proceed with cancellation (thus confirming you are the seller authorised to cancel the account and not an impostor) and once you have confirmed this back via email, we will then remove your account within 72 hours to prevent further membership subscription charges.

If you don’t have access to your seller email address anymore, then please use our contact form anyway, selecting cancellation as the type of enquiry but stating your seller username and the last 4 digits of your card most recently charged, as we can also authorise cancellations this way also.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the nature of our seller memberships providing our users with instant access to our websites selling features, we do not usually provide refunds.

Buyers can browse and enquire to Kinkie sellers for free, without the need for any annoying registration process.

However our sellers time, talents and used items are valuable and will cost you money in exchange, so please don’t expect our sellers to offer freebies and show them the respect they deserve.

Is packaging discreet?

Don’t worry, we advise our sellers to send their items as discreetly as possible, if you require particular requirements for this you should discuss this directly with your seller.

Can I trust the sellers on Kinkie?

We want to be as transparent as possible, so to help buyers make the best decision when buying through our website, we’ve decided to show the following useful information on every sellers profile page.

It shows you when they signed up to become a Kinkie seller and how long they’ve been selling with us for. It also shows you reviews left by other buyers and what star rating they have on average across all of their buyer reviews. But please note some buyers choose not to leave reviews on good sellers, so bear this in mind.

Our most trusted and top sellers have been selling with Kinkie for some time and come highly rated, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try our new sellers too, we all have to start somewhere!

Please be rest assured any scam sellers are promptly removed from our website, as we have a zero tolerance policy for sellers who have been proven to not have fulfilled buyer orders.
